For this project
Chris put forward his idea for a super hero named Tether man that he came up
with in the past that we decided to use. He described the basic concepts for
tether man and together we came up for a story line plot and how to put it
together visually.
Tether man is a
parody on super-heroes. The comedy comes
from the fact that although he could save the day he constrained by society for
bad parking habits. Although the tether is the cause of the victim’s death this
is still humorous because of the circumstances that the victim put on himself.
We used specific music and sound effects to dramatize each scene and add to the
comedic affect we are trying to reach.
For this project
we aimed to make the audience laugh. We hope that they see the comedic aspect
that we envisioned. Hoping that the audience recognizes the parody between
modern day superhero movies with action and drama to our simplistic and comedic
look on super-heroes.

Great storyline guys, I loved it, it was hilarious! I think your animation was really well done and things went very smooth. I think you guys were very creative with your thoughts, the idea of the gigantic cat was great, and I loved the reference to other superheros, especially when he 'Shatnered' about not getting any closer to the house. I think your choice of music and sound effects were great and I was glad you had voice overs. The only critiques I have is that the music was very abrupt to begin and end, I think it would be nice if they faded in and out. Also, sometimes the voices were a little hard to understand. Otherwise, phenomenal job, I really enjoyed it! It was super entertaining! :)
ReplyDeleteThis was hilarious. And awesome. You guys made a lot of scenes to build out the universe, which really added to the project as a whole. The concept of the Tetherman is very entertaining, and the detail scenes like when he put on the mask were great! Music was on point. Animation was super smooth and thoughtful. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThis was incredibly entertaining, thank you for this. The music is great and really makes it hilarious. Your voiceovers are the best and the plot is humorous. You guys did really well on this, good job. You should make more of these, maybe with something else besides flash. Also, I like the highlighted T's in your text.
ReplyDeleteThis was hysterical! I loved all the little details, the mad scientist's kitchen, the moped, the music. Danger Zone... genius! I can tell that you guys put a lot of work into this project. The animation was awesome; I don't know how you made your characters motions look so realistic! Great job!
ReplyDeleteThis was a hilarious take on a super hero. The detail really worked and all the sound effects and the music made everything work together so great. It made it so enjoyable to watch and make you want to watch it again. You made a run running and it looked so real! And great voice over Chris! It turned out so great. Your animations were so good to make it look so smooth. I got a little lost in the movie while watching it. My favorite part was when he was getting dressed and the "I need a hero" song was playing. Great work!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery funny concept of a hero who can’t quite save the day! (I was laughing the whole time!) Great music, the 80s songs matched the visuals and the purposeful over-the-top plot. Good animation, especially the scenes with the moped. Using a voice over was effective—text would have been distracting.

The blood coming out of the door at the end was a very graphic, disgusting nice touch. I also really liked the moped turn on the curved road. You had a lot of details that really made your project entertaining and successful. Very nice. Just, please check your spelling for TERRIFIC! Unless you meant to spell that wrong. That stood out to me every time your title frame flashed. Nice job,though :)
ReplyDeleteWow. How amazing to see Tetherman come to life. I really enjoyed his calm but efficient super hero demeanor at all times, portrayed by his voice. I also loved the comedic timing of the cat food making process, it was just long enough to strike laughter in me but not to long that it was overdone. I agree with the spelling, unless of course it was made that way to add to its absurdity. In which case, very artsy.
